Circumstances of death:
Killed in action 5th of October 1917 in the area between Anzac Ridge and Railway Wood, near Zonnebeke, Belgium. Johan is killed in action at the same day the battle of Broodseinde Ridge starts, and he is supposed to have been killed at the area described in the pictures. Johan has no own grave, but he is commemorated at Menin gate Memorial in Ypres, Belgium.
